On Monday, Nicollet Mall organized the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Minneapolis for the first time in years.

Hundreds of people were on site to celebrate, and some said Fox 9 that they arrived hours in advance.

In his 57th year, the annual parade in St. Patrick's Day in Minneapolis returned to the city center after several years in Columbia.

“It's just a great time to get out with your friends and celebrate St. Patrick's Day,” said Jack Frost. “It is exciting. The city has teamed up as a group and as a community.”

“It's not as big as I saw in the past years, but I think that could be because it is only the first year in which it is again in Minneapolis,” said Jack Joubert.
