Mobile County Commission to keep a hearing to the lounge, place of shooting

Mobile, Ala. (Wala) – An announcement in the mobile County, Alabama, Facebook page says that the Mobile County Commission will hold a public hearing in relation to the bar and lounge of Alabama this month.

The mobile police reacted to the lounge on February 1 after a reported shootout.

The investigators say that Hunter Lins and another man were shot outside after an argument.

Lins died later in the hospital.

The hearing is planned during the Mobile County Commission on Monday, March 24th, at 10 a.m.

In the announcement, the Commission will carry out a public hearing to check whether Alabama Bar & Lounge is in a way in a way that is uncertain and or incompatible with the best interests of the residents of Mobile County.

The public hearing is a reaction to several complaints from Mobile County residents to the Commission on the negative effects of the lounge to the community.

In the past six years, the mobile police authority has documented many calls/incidents where alleged violent or other serious crimes at the Lounges location at the 10071 Airport Boulevard were included, including two murders, of which last February 1, 2025.

The announcement states that the Commission should determine that the lounge is calmed down as an annoyance or in a way for the health and the well -being of the community if it should withdraw its prior approval to the licensing and compliance department of the Alabama ABC Board of Directors.

The ultimate decision on the license is made by the ABC board.
