Mon. You shot the son's football coach in the course of the season

A man from Missouri was convicted because he had shot a youth football coach after he had upset himself about his son's season, the authorities said.

The 45 -year -old Daryl B. Clemmons was guilty in connection with the 2023 shootings on Friday, February 28th, for assault and armed criminal lawsuit.

The prosecutors said that Clemmons shot the 34-year-old Shaquille Ratimore, a volunteer coach of the City Recend Legends Football League, after an oral argument about the amount of season that Clemmon's son received during an exercise game in the neighborhood of Kingsway West of the city on October 10, 2023.

According to the prosecutors, both men had weapons during the dispute, but ratimore gave his gun to a friend and said they should “fight fists”. Then Clemmons shot five times before he fled in front of the scene. Clemmons later went to the police on this day.

According to the publication, a group of children played nearby at the time of the shootout.

During the trial, Ratimore, who survived the shootout, said that Clemmons continued to fire balls after he had fallen, KTVI reported. As for Clemmons, he said in court that the shootout was self -defense after Stamilore asked him to fight after the outlet.

“Violence, especially in youth sports, is completely unacceptable and undermines the purpose of these programs – teaching teamwork, discipline and respect,” said the public prosecutor Gore in the press release.

“This could easily have been a fatal encounter for the trainer and the children and family members present. Unfortunately, the trauma of this event by everyone who saw it is not easy to forget. ”

The prosecutors said Clemmons were convicted of March 13.
