Sioux City (Kiv) – After a decent day on Thursday, the conditions will change again because our next storm system will move to Siouxland.

A light rain will develop on Thursday evening and then bypass the snow when we come to night on Thursday evening. While the snow takes over, there are probably some heavy ligaments that develop with the heaviest accumulation that probably occurs in western Siouxland. These are the counties that will be in a winter storm warning from Thursday evening until 6 p.m. 4 to 7 inch snow will probably not be out of questions in these areas with isolated 8 -inch quantities, especially in places like Holt County. The quantities will be a little lighter from the intergovernmental 29 corridor and the points to the east, but many of these locations were still able to see 2 to 5 inch snow with isolated higher quantities. This will be a heavy, wet snow that remains quite warm in the upper 20s to about 30 years. The wind will occur all night to 10 to 20 miles per hour from the east.

Friday morning looks like a snow -covered case. During the snow, we were able to gust northeast winds up to 25 miles per hour, which is far lower than the snowstorm that we had this week, but are enough to possibly drive a little. When we come to the afternoon and the temperatures rise to the 1930s, there could be some rain that extend with the snow again when the precipitation mixture ends in the course of the afternoon. Expect that the heights will get to the middle to upper 30s.

A first watchful weather day is in force as soon as we reach the conditions described above on midnight and on Friday. If the snow is the hardest, visibility is influenced. Road conditions could also be a problem, so they plan accordingly.

Friday evening gets colder when the lows go to the middle of the young people when the sky is cleared.

After this week in which snow was accumulated, the weekend will bring in conditions that will melt the snow. Under mainly sunny sky, the highs will reach the upper 40s on Saturday, with the low 50s to Sunday.

Will we keep melting up next week? Tonight I will take a full look at your 10-day forecast in News 4 around 5, 6 and 10.
