Mother, child with a gun held? Winter Have Police Video in the middle of community outrage

Winter Haven, Fla. – The outrage over the social media broke out through a photo on which the police officers of Winter Haven showed a mother and their child with a gun held.

In response to this, the agency published the Body Camera video of the incident on Thursday.

The video shows two civil servants who rush on the woman and the child on the woman and the child on Tuesday, with at least one officer holding a weapon.

“Put your hands out,” you hear an officer. “Stay below. Just don't move.”

According to the Winter Haven police, the officials reacted to a call about a disorder with a weapon.

According to reports, a man had gotten into a fight with a shop employee in a parking lot before striking in a red Nissan Altima. According to the police, the mother and the child were passengers in the vehicle.

The officers tied up handcuffs at the crime scene.

The police said that the child was “calmed down and immediately” after the detention and explained that “the officer's weapon was aimed at the child”, with several camera goals as evidence.

The Florida Department of Children and Family was notified in the presence of the child due to the violent nature of the alleged crime.
