MPD officer in the hospital, hit by the ATV driver in the U Street

The ATV driver apparently fled the MPD officer at the intersection of the 15th and u Street Northwest at 8:15 p.m.

Washington – A civil servant of the Metropolitan Police Department was in the hospital on Saturday evening after an ATV driver got on her in the U Street Corridor.

The ATV driver apparently fled the MPD officer at the intersection of the 15th and u Street Northwest at 8:15 p.m. A spokesman for the department described the state of the officer on Saturday evening as “stable” and added that the official was aware and breathing.

The MPD officials said on Saturday evening that they were looking for a man who drove a blue and black ATV. Less than an hour after the crash, an MPD spokesman announced that the department initiated an examination of the criminal charges for “leaving after the collapse” and the crime against a police officer.
