Tular County, California (KFSN) – The deputies of the Sheriff of Tulare County examine a possible domestic dispute in Springville.

A man called to report that someone entered his house on Highway 190 near Bridge Drive, and began to physically attack the man's ex-girlfriend.

The man who called the authorities tried to intervene, but the suspect had threatened to stab him.

The investigators say that the suspect, 49-year-old Steve Almanza, had forced the woman to go with him.

The MPs say that the incident occurred on Saturday before 7 p.m., but was only reported after midnight.
