Ms. Ellen Gilland was convicted of shooting and killed the terminally ill husband Jerry Gilland in the Daytona Beach, Florida Hospital

A woman received her prison for murder of her husband in 2023.

Ellen Gilland did not advocate shooting and killing her terminal husband in a hospital in a daytona Beach, Florida.

Gilland previously admitted to having killed her Todmal husband and said it was what he wanted.

“I kept the gun behind his ear. I pulled it away and asked him if he was safe,” she said in court. “He raised his hand; and put her on my arm and pushed the gun in his head. There was a loud bang and he was gone.”

Gilland, who was in Bond, was sentenced to almost a year for the death of her husband. She was immediately taken into custody to serve her punishment.

Judge Kathryn Weston accepted part of the certificate from Gilland, but ultimately because of the trauma, which was sentenced to a prison by all nursing staff and law enforcement authorities who reacted the day of the shootout.

Gilland barricaded himself in the room for several hours and threatened to shoot everyone who came in.

“We are again very grateful to assess Weston and show Ms. Gilland compassion and to take into account the entire reduction that we have made available,” said defender Matthew Ferry.

Ferry in the hope that it will be sentenced to probation; However, he was satisfied with the result when you consider that it was exposed to up to 10 years behind bars.
