Ms. Formally accused after the argument at Family Dollar leads to Shooting – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

Dayton -A woman was officially charged after being accused of being shot in a family dollar business in Dayton.

A Grand Jury in Montgomery County has charged Lisa Pettet (31) because of a crime and a number of us correctly handling a fire in a motor vehicle, according to a report by the Grand Jury.

As previously reported by News Center 7The Dayton's police responded to reports on a crime in the family collar in the 600 block of the Troy Street at 1:40 p.m. on February 14th.

The officials found a broken front window when they arrived on site.

The incident began when Pettet got a dispute with a cashier about her EBT card, which, according to an affidavit and a declaration of fact that was submitted to the Dayton Municipal Court, did not work.

The manager finally entered to help.

After Pettet left the shop, she got into a Dodge van and drove past the front of the shop.

Court files show that Pettet reports a weapon out of the driver's window and fired a shot into the shop.

The shooting was caught on the surveillance video.

The police learned that Pettet was related to a former employee.

They went to the house of the former employee and found Pettet there. The officials saw a 9 -mm housing in a clear view of the driver's seat of the van.

After rejecting the shooting of the shop, she said she wanted to shoot the building, according to court records.

Pettet is not in custody. Your next court appearance is planned for March 11th.
