Muesli becomes a staple for all -day snacking

Muesli is no longer strictly confidantian. Consumers want functional snacks, and muesli is a practical format that packs in function. At Expo West, companies showed their innovation not only to make muesli as an equipment in the yogurt, but also as a way to make it a round-the-clock snack.

Since Granolas can often be deceptive to sugar, the following companies find alternative ways to make it a more nutrient -rich product. There is also a lot of crossover between the trends, including use Honey as a sweetenermeshing Global flavors And definitely implement more protein in the Granola category.

Clusterbucks

Clusterbucks is much more than a crispy muesli on a buckwheat base, but a functional snack that could sit in different food categories. The brand is known for its sweet series of flavors like hers Regenerative organic certified Blueberry crispy, birthday cake and Bucks' n honey, but it is about to start several hearty aromas. One of these flavors is a partnership with Big Tree Farms, which not only uses its coconut sugar for a sweetener, but also the coco aminos to follow the hearty inquiries from consumers. The new flavors will later introduce natural retail shelves in 2025 when the brand reaches a total of 10 varieties. Granology

Granology Sold a famous granolas series that are packed so that they look like vitamins as if it is what they actually offer. Co -founder Heejin Jung tells me that the granology is the largest muesli manufacturer in South Korea and that he visited Expo West to meet more retailers in the USA. With classic granolas, cereal clusters and oat puffs, the granology does not take place in typical muesli textures. They are available in a variety of very appealing, snackable, yoghurt -enabled and starting mixtures of sausage products, some of which are very child -friendly. Black sesame, berry, coconut and chocolate are the main aromas together with a series of protein granolas, cereal bars, candied nuts and to-go packs, all of which are sweetened with non-refinanced sugar, maple syrup and monk fruits.

Kodiak

Kodiak knows what the Expo-West participants want, and there is no better stand on the show for a daily pancake and French toast stick breakfast or even a three-part folk band. The 30-year-old pioneers in protein-rich pancakes, Kodiak, are working on becoming a basic all-round pantry food in breakfast. It has just started selling two of the greatest product collectors of all time: three protein -muesli varieties, including honey oats, biscuit butter and chocolate, in addition to trail rods. “We bring incremental households to the new category,” says Kodiak CEO Val Oswalt. “Muesli was the second most common category he should enter.” The muesli made from coconut oil contains 17 grams of protein per serving. You are already on the shelves of Target, Walmart, Kroger and Albertsons. “Munching, yogurt, muesli – the versatility of muesli is incredibly attractive. We tried to make it in a way that meets all three needs, ”says Oswalt. “It's not just about being protein packed. It has to taste fantastic. “Kodiak is also about to start a series of breakfast sandwiches, such as a sausage, egg and cheese between two protein pfann cakes that bring this spring onto the market.

Seven Sundays

Seven Sundays Is on the mission to change what the muesli gang looks like and its work with sustainable initiatives to achieve this. The brand made two new oat protein granolas on Expo West. The reason why these granolas have a higher protein content than others is on the oat upcycling process that revises the supply chain seven Sundays. Co -founder Hannah Barnstable explains to me that oats who used oat milk leads to a oat concentrate that is used in this new muesli. This is the triple amount of protein and twice as high as the fiber of oatmeal. The B-Corp-certified company works on 100% regenerative ingredients and sources on many ingredients directly from farmers. It is also innovative cereal packaging by eliminating the cardboard box with only flav that bags. All products, including the unchecked grain, are only sweetened with dates, Minnesota -ahaorn syrup, honey or coconut sugar. Seven Sundays were launched as a muesli company 12 years ago and had a strong consumer base in families. “I have a household of five and hardly go down the grain. But I'm excited about it, ”says Barnstable. “It is an astonishing way if it is done correctly to quickly bring economic nutrition into our body.” Seven Sundays will start nationwide both in Target and Kroger.
