In El Monte, CaliforniaA mother lives the nightmare of every parent – shown by ICE Despite no criminal record that her daughter Xitlali left behind, to combat bone cancer alone.

Yolanda (50) and her son Johnathan were recently taken into custody and their daughter Xitlali (21) left behind without nurse.

“Ma, it's okay. You didn't do anything,” said Xitlali when she tried to comfort her mother. The heartbreaking moment that was recorded on video showed Ice Agents, which Yolanda tied up with handcuffs, who could only answer through tears: “But they will take me away.”

The agents supposedly refused to show an arrest warrant despite the family requests. Then they packed Johnathan without warning.

“They pushed him in the car and they packed him without any questions. They told him that he had the arrest warrant, but he didn't show it” Local news.

Yolanda Xitlalis was a lifeline without a crop and ensured the essential care without which her daughter could not live, said family members.

“If I take chemo, I feel very, very bad, I can't do anything, I can't even wake up properly, I'm half sleep. She helps me, she bathes me, she changes my food,” said Xitlali.

Johnathan served time for a crime almost a decade ago, but his sister believes that he was targeted.

Yolanda, on the other hand, seems to be a “collateral liability” – a practice in which ice is imprisoned by people who happen to be present during the enforcement measures.

“There would be a way if ice gives a certain pardon that would allow the mother to fight her case in court instead of staying in custody, but this would be based on a humanitarian problem and would not guarantee that you would leave her in the country,” said family lawyer, David Acalin.

With her mother and brother in separate centers, Xitlali is left behind without the two people, which she depends on most

“I have the feeling that my life falls apart,” she said.

Instead of giving up, she channeling her fight in online fundraising and determined to be combined again.

ICE has not yet commented on the case.
