Mystery Otome '7'Scarlet' receives May publication date on Nintendo Switch

Publisher Aksys has revealed the release date for the publication date 7'Scarlet. The Otome game comes to the Nintendo Switch on May 15, 2025.

7'Scarlet Release History

7'Scarlet was originally developed for the PlayStation Vita in a partnership between Toybox and Otomate. Thanks to Asesys, the game came to the west on this platform and later received a PC port from Intragames.

As early as 2024, the game for Nintendo Switch in Japan was published as part of the graffiti list of otomats. Before it came out, Aksys had already announced that an English version would come.

A missing brother and a mysterious city

7'Scarlet Tells the story of Ichiko Hanamaki, a young woman whose older brother has disappeared. She worries about him, decides to examine his last known place: the small town of Okunezato.

A year has passed since his disappearance, but she still hopes that he is doing well. Together with her friend from childhood, Hino Kagutsuchi, she is looking for information on his whereabouts.

However, as soon as she comes to the city, she learns that the place keeps more puzzles than she expected. A number of incidents begin and it will approach a unique group of young people who deal with the occult legends of the place.

In addition to the digital version, the game will also be available in physical editions. In addition to the standard, the AKSYS online shop has an exclusive edition that contains a diorama with the characters in the Chibi format.
