Name of San Angelo Crash victim published

Two men who died in San Angelo within days after an accident were identified and the police suspected that a driver suffered a medical incident before his wreck.

The 77 -year -old Jerry Mills from San Angelo drove a red 2020 -Moped North in the 500 block of the North Bryant Boulevard at around 9:04 p.m. on March 7.

Mills switched on his bends and may have seemed to have tried to turn right into the West Sixth Street, an investigator of the police in San Angelo said in the crash report. The moped struck a curb and mills was thrown by the vehicle.

A municipal car transported Mills to the Shannon Medical Center, and it was declared dead that day at 9:30 p.m. A media publication by San Angelo Police. He was not wearing a helmet.

In a separate incident, the 60 -year -old jacket Davis drove a Silver 2021 Dodge RAM 1500 at 10:58 a.m.

Davis drove south in the 400 block of the US Highway 87 South when his pickup left the street and, according to the report and a media publication, bumped into a concrete column for the Crossing Avenue overpass.

He had suffered a stroke about two weeks before the collision and was in an emergency room the night earlier, the investigator said in the report. It is believed that the driver has experienced a medical incident before the crash.

Davis was declared dead at the crime scene, according to the publication of media. SAPD expanded condolences to the families who were affected by the accidents.
