Albany – Scott Dent Jr. and Melissa Burger were identified as the two victims who died of the episode of a wreck, which took place on Saturday at the intersection of the Nelms Road and the StagoCoach Road, reports the police department of Dougherty County.
The report states that Dent drove a 2002 Ford F-1550 that drove south in the StagoCoach Road when he ran a stop sign at the intersection with Nelms Road at around 11:20 a.m., which was driven by Bobby Freddie Phillips on the right side on Nelms to the west. The F-150 continued to the southwest and met a tool and a fire hydrant, and the Dodge Ram went south of 110 feet before it came to rest on the northern lane from StagoCoach, officers said.
The report indicates that witnesses have informed the officials that Dent is a high speed rate before the impact.
Burger, who was the passenger in the Dodge Ram, was declared dead at the crime scene. Dent was brought to the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, where it was declared dead at 1:45 p.m., the report says.
On the basis of the observations of the reporting officer, the physical evidence on site, the statements of all parties and the death of dent and burger were not charged. Possible fees for phillips are the results of a blood alcohol test, the report says.
Phillips was listed in good condition in the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital on Monday afternoon, said a spokeswoman for the hospital.
