Nelson County Sheriff, deputy boss, charged with criminal charges

Nelson County, Ky. (Wave) – The sheriff of Nelson County and a deputy of a sheriff were charged with the abuse of public trust.

Sheriff Ramon Pineiroa and the deputy chief Brandon Bryan are charged with abuse of public trust, theft through deception, falsification, official misconduct and two violations of the law on the state of Kentucky.

The charges come from a lawsuit in which Pineiroa and Bryan are involved in accused of having sold illegally confiscated vehicles to various non -authorized buyers. According to the lawsuit, Ian Justice, an employee of the sheriff office, reported behavior and claims that he was distributed because of its retaliation and was even removed from the sheriff from certain tasks.

Justice claims that his close friend and his employee wants to support Purdom and also took him against retaliation.
