Neshaminy calls new high school coaches

Langhorne, PA -The Neshaminy school district has appointed a new boss -varsity football coach for the Neshaminy High School.

Nicholas M. Felus will connect the coaching team for the 2025 season.

He was appointed on Tuesday by the Neshaminy School Board at his meeting.

“We are very happy to welcome coach Nicholas Felus as the new head coach of the Neshaminy football program,” said Lisa Pennington, deputy headmistress and sports director of the Neshaminy High School. “With his passion, leadership and his commitment to the game, we look forward to the future of our team under his instructions. Trainer Felus brings with it an abundance of experience and a commitment to excellence that our players will inspire both on and outside the field. We look forward to seeing the hard work, the determination and success that lie ahead of us. I ask our community to offer him and his family a warm Neshaminy will to offer Ridge at Heartbreak Ridge. “

Felus entered the school district after working as head coach of the Penn Cambria High School in Cresson since 2019. Previously, from 2016 to 2019 he was the top football coach of the Altoona Area High School and the offensive coordinator, quarterback and wide recipient coach of the Coatesville Area High School from 2009 to 2016.

Felus is a graduate of the Penn Cambria High School (class from 1996) and Lock Haven University, where he acquired a Bachelor degree in primary school formation. He has a master's degree in educational management from West Virginia University.

In addition to his coaching obligations, Felus was served as a high school and primary school lessons
Teacher in Coatesville and as a specialist in sporting training and development.

In 2024 Penn Cambria ended with a 14: 1 record, won her first district championship in school history and went to the semi-finals of the AAA semi-final of Piaa.

Felus was appointed coach of the year by the Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association for his efforts by the Altoona Mirror and District 6 coach of the year.

Felus replaces Steve Wilmot, who resigned on January 23 after 20 years as a co -trainer and 10 years as football coach of the Neshaminy High School.
