Netflix reveals the premiere date, first-class pictures

Netflix has set a premiere date for SirensHis dark comedy limited series driven by women, created by the Emmy-nominated writer and showrunner Molly Smeth Metzler (Maid) and Luckychap executives produced.

The five-episode Limited series in which Julianne Moore plays the leading role (May December), Meghann Fahy (The white lotus) and Milly Alcock (House of the dragon) should bow on May 22nd. The series is an adaptation of Metzler's piece Elemeno pea This focuses on Devon, who believes that her sister Simone has a really creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell. Michaela's cult life in luxury is like a drug for Simone, and Devon has decided that it is time for an intervention. When Devon follows her sister to say WTF, she has no idea what an impressive opponent Michaela will be.

In the course of an explosive weekend, the show tells the Kells at the Greppish Beach Beach Beach and is invoiced as a concise, sexy and dark funny exploration of women, power and class. Moore plays Michaela, while Fahy Devon and Alcock portrays how she plays her younger sister Simone. Kevin Bacon (Peter Kell), Glenn Hoerton (Ethan Corbin III), Bill Camp (Bruce Dewitt) and Felix Solis (Jose) also play the leading role in the Limited Series.

In addition to Showrunning and Writing, Metzler will produce for Luckychap alongside Dani Gorin, Tom Ackerley and Margot Robbie. Emmy candidate Nicole Kassell (Guardian) will lead the first two episodes and also serve as an EP.

Sirens marks the first series of Metzler's creative partnership with Netflix, which was announced in 2022, and comes to the heels of the Margaret Qualley-led Limited series. MaidYour first project with the streamer.
