Tucson, ariz. (13 news) – At the end of 1999 to January 2000, a number of Arsons Tucsons Eastside plagued near Broadway and Kolb. No suspects were trapped.
There were a total of 20 fires, the last of the strings ended around midnight on January 21.
And this fire was fatal.
“When TFD arrived, she extinguished the fire and found a deceased man in an imperial Chrysler vehicle,” says TPD Detective Steven Acevedo.
The body was found on the passenger seat of the burned vehicle. But to date, the person's identity remains a mystery.
“This person is a man, possibly a Hispanic or white man, somewhere between the ages of 45 and 55 * in January 2000,” says Acevedo.
So why bring the case back into the spotlight?
“By trying to improve images in VHS format in modern DVR film material-we will be able to identify a person that we believe is of interest,” says Acevedo.
The technological advances have made it possible for the detectives to create more recent, clearer, monitoring breasts of a person they say that they are a witness.

Although years have passed, detectives are encouraged by this progress that a name was given to a John Doe, a family can be calmed down and that they can be led to a suspect.
“We believe that there were witnesses who still live that may have information about this incident. We encourage you to contact the police or contact 88 crime. “
