New publication: Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 Self -wind flying tourbillon 38mm o'clock

After a restless, controversial start in 2019 Audemars Piguet The Code 11.59 series seems to have finally found its own stand. Years of incremental updates, design reinforcements and a broader spectrum of presentations have greatly alleviated the call of code 11.59 in enthusiastic circles. Since the public further heats this iconoclastic remix from AP -Design -Cues, the brand remains determined to develop the line in new directions. As part of his latest publications, Audemars Piguet brings some of his sophisticated movement work into a smaller, more ornamental package. With a breathtaking gemstone setting and a complication with a high impact, the new Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 Self -winning tourbillon 38 mm is a remarkable publication in itself, but its effects on the rest of the Code 11.59 family and the brand line -up overall could be even greater.

As the name suggests, the Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 Self -measurement Flying Tourbillon 38 mm 18K “Sandgold” case with a balanced 38 mm width. Although this is not the first time that the code 11.59 was rendered at a diameter of 38 mm, these dimensions in images fit the deceptively complex design. The gently rejuvenating lugs and the ultra -thin smooth bezel give this watch a simple, almost occupied appearance from above, but when it is viewed at an angle, the depth of code 11.59. The tabs have skeleton cutouts along their pages, including mirror -polished chamfer, to contrast with the strong linear brushes on the pages. The characteristic octagonal center of the line also returns here, but both branded elements take up a new character thanks to the code 11.59 Selbsterwinkeling Flying Tourbillon 38 mm. Both the upper surfaces of the tabs and every face of the eight-sided middle of the mid-case are completely diamond cruast together with the edge of the 3 o'clock crown. Overall, Audemar's Piguet claims that this case contains 235 diamonds with brilliant cowl with a combined weight of 1.2 carat. In combination with the delicate, neutral beige tones of the brand's proprietary “sand gold” of the brand, it is a luxurious, somewhat feminine look in pictures, but here there are crossover appell for adventurous support. Audemars Piguet completes the housing with a sapphire measuring case and evaluates the watch for a light 30 meter water resistance.

Audemars Piguet opens up for a low-contrasting monochrome search after the code 11.59 Selbsterwinkeling Flying Tourbillon 38 mm and retains this style using a PVD digit sheet “Sandgold”. This sound-on-tone-metallic beige look is clever and tasteful in initial pictures and offers a reserved screen for the varied texture work of the brand. The oversized outer chapter ring is a solid example of this superficial philosophy in action, which contrasts its azure interface with an internal minute in the inside with light linear brushes. The main electoral surface itself uses the written “Ripple” texture of code 11.59, which was first introduced into the line in 2023, with concentric ventilation rings outwards towards the dial edge. Interestingly, this Ripple texture does not revolve around the slim skeleton vehicle in contrast to some most recent AP tourbillon offers and not around the 6th clock tourbillon window. It is a design selection that undermines the complication of this watch and enables the attention to draw attention in a natural way without consuming the entire design around it. This model uses a simple three-arm tourbillon cage design in this model, which is crowned with a mixture of radial brushes and polished anglicine. While it may not be the obvious heart of the layout, the bright white metal look of the flying tourbillon naturally allows you to withdraw from its surroundings in photos.

Audemars Piguet makes the code 11.59 Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon 38 mm with its in -house caliber 2968 Automatic Flying Tourbillon Movement. Although it is not a strictly new engine, this is the first time that the caliber 2968 appeared in the line of code 11.59, and the first time that this movement appeared in a 38 -mm case. Both are important developments -first of all, the involvement of this slimmer, more compact, flying tourbillon design may announce a variety of smaller codes 11.59 complementary models in the future. In addition, by testing this movement in 38 -mm dimensions, Audemars Piguet could test the water on other 38 mm wide fly tourbillon models in the entire brand in the future (although both a 39 -mm and a 37 -mm royal OAK variant with this movement with this movement was a 38 -mm -rooyal oak with this movement published in 2022 unlikely). As with earlier iterations, the caliber 2968 presented here is a decent artist with a 50 -hour electricity reserve at 21,600 BPH blows. However, where this movement really shines, his packaging is. The caliber 2968 measures only 3.4 mm thick and enables an impressively thin housing construction. In terms of completion, Audemars Piguet opts for a crisp, modern appearance, but one thing corresponds to its own high standard. Most important surfaces on the bridges have simple linear brushes, but the brand surrounds them with extensive, geometric skeletal cutouts and brilliantly polished anglicine with suitable jewel sink. For the skeletal rotor, AP complements the housing with a 22 km gold alloy, which was completed in linear brushes with polished anglicine and polished, shaped “AP” branding. To complete the clock, Audemars Piguet fits 38 mm flying tourbillon with a light, brown alligator alligator leather strap. This belt is paired with a butterfly provider closure with an additional 42 brilliant cut diamonds with a total of 0.16 karat (unfortunately the brand could not provide any pictures of this closure before the press time).
