NHL trade tips: Yahoo trade period

The trading period for most Yahoo pools is Wednesday, so the NHL trade tips went out early this week to take its final steps.

The NHL is back after an incredibly successful face of 4 nations, but the tournament demanded some players who tried to win all of the countries. On the one hand, Matthew Tkachuk is probably out in the long term because he has to do with a groin injury that caused him to miss the third period and overtime in the 3-2 victory in Canada against the USA.

Trade for

Mikko RantannenW, Hurricanes (100 percent equipped)

Rantannen has a very slow start in Carolina with just one goal and two templates in seven games. He was a force with Colorado before trade and scored 25 goals and 39 templates in just 49 appearances. While Sebastian Aho is not Nathan Mackinnon, AHO is still a top 20 center in the NHL, and the two Finns should finally click.

I think that rantons and hurricanes are in negotiations on a long -term contract, and that could hurt him on the ice. You will probably need to need in a head-to-head-league tranta at the playoff time, and the contract should be solved by then (one or the other way). There is also a possibility, although slim that roments are traded until the deadline on March 7 if no deal can be agreed. In this case, he is most likely traded in a top playoff team.

There is also a possibility, although slim that roments are traded until the deadline on March 7 if no deal can be agreed. In this case, he is most likely traded in a top playoff team, probably at the Western conference, since the Hurricanes do not want him in the east, where they could possibly meet with him at the beginning of the late season.

Example of a completed deal from the Yahoo Trade market: Rantanne and Artemi Panarin for Dougie Hamilton and JT Miller.

Kevin LankinenG, Canucks, (61 percent equipped)

Lankines increases an enormous imagination, since Thatcher Demko is on the side again, this time with an injury with a lower body. Lankines will take over most of the destinations for the Canucks on the route, since the Canucks are currently the second wild card in the west and are pursued by four teams within six points.

Lankinen concluded a contract extension of five years last week, based on his 19-7-4 record. He has four shut -outs as well as a 2.52 GAA and a percentage of 0.907, much better than Demko and current backup articles -Silovs.

Example of a completed deal from the Yahoo trade market: Lankines and a selection of the 14th round for Chris Kreider and a selection of 10 rounds.

Kevin FialaW, kings (82 percent beetle)

The Kings played the lowest number of games that have been in action on Monday with 54, one less than Buffalo and five so far fewer than four teams. That is a big advantage.

Fiala had a good start with seven goals and 12 points in his first 13 games, but then hit the skids when he scored only seven goals and three templates in his next 27 appearances. This is far from the last three seasons in which he achieved 85 goals and 230 points over 233 appearances of the regular season. He switched it back against Vegas with eight goals and 15 points in his last 13 inclinations on Monday evening.

Example of a completed deal from the Yahoo trade market: Fiala for Barrett Hayton.

Act

John TavaresC, Maple Leafs (92 percent triggered)

Tavares has an excellent offensive season with 22 goals and 26 templates over 50 games. He was a force on the power game with eight goals, although his lean two templates were far below his normal total, since he had 32 power play helpers in the last two campaigns.

The problem with Tavares is that he has slowed down and will probably not be able to keep the pace as a second -line center in the playoffs. That is why the Maple Leafs are likely to look at a top Towo-Mitte-Mitte-Mitte-Handelschlittzeit (think of Brock Nelson, for example), which drives tavares up to the third unit, where it does not have so good linemates, provided that the evaluation of skills is is not so good linemates. I would get what I could do for the 34-year-old veteran at that time.

Example of a closed deal from the Yahoo trade market: Tavares for Aleksander Barkov.

Logan ThompsonG, capitals (90 percent equipped)

Poolies will see Thompsons 25-2-5 record with a 2.25 GAA and a percentage of 0.920 and ask why you should act. Well, he shares the network with Charlie Lindgren quite evenly and apart from the time, the Lindgren missed over five games from 10 to January 10th with an injury to the upper body. Thompson is only 2-0: 2 in his last four starts and has approved 15 goals at 122 shots (0.877 percent). You should be able to get a lot for the talented NetMinder, which will probably be second or third in the Vezina Trophy vote at the end of the season. The capitals are so far ahead in the Eastern Conference rating that there is no reason to play Thompson in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Example of a completed deal from the Yahoo trade market: Thompson for Igor Shesterkin.

Roman JosiD, predators (99 percent triggered)

Josi didn't have a good season, just like the predators who are not in the Western Conference playoff. In his last nine games, Josi has only three templates that the defender achieved nine goals and 38 points in 52 appearances this season. Josi had excellent seasons in two of his past three years and won 96 points last season in 2021-22 and 85 points. He classified these two campaigns with a 59-point year in 2022-23, albeit in only 67 games, but this season seems to be his worst since the 56-game time plan of the league during covid when he was 33 points managed in 48 outings. His minus-26 rating is problematic because it is connected to the fifth time in the NHL and the worst for the predators.

Example of a completed deal from the Yahoo trade market: Josi and Juuse Saros for Jake Oettinger and Cale Makar.
