Nick Ball vs. TJ Doheny Full Card results, highlights as a WBA featherweight boxing champion in the inoue picture remains

Nick Ball kept his WBA title in spring weight with an endeavor of 10 rounds against TJ Doheny in front of a floating home in Liverpool.

Ball made the second defense of the title, which he won in a thriller in 2024 against Raymond Ford in Riad. The experienced Irish South Paw Doheny, a former master of the IBF Super Bantamweight, made it a business to prevent such a fireworks.

The 38-year-old boxed for the first time since his unsuccessful challenge for Naoya Inoues undisputed Super Bantamweight crown last September and frustrated ball early.

But the relentless nature of Ball's attacks began to make Dents in Doheny halfway. The round nine and ten were a brutal torture for the brave visitor, and with his right eye, Doheny's corner decided that they had seen enough.

Inoue will get out against Ramon Cardanas in Las Vegas in May. If the modern Great wants to try to rule with a fifth weight, Ball and his team point out that their husband is open to business.

After taking an inventory in the first minute, ball rattled a few head shots from the bumps home. His underestimated left tour was the key to a powderizing performance

Towards the end of the opening, Doheny grabbed her hands with her hands. They were in a clinch in the bell in Doheny's corner and the older man refused to leave a headlock on the ball that pushed a knee into the background of his opponent's leg. Referee Michael Alexander tried to restore the order before the start of the second round, but soon warned Doheny for his constant verbals.

A left hook on the body and a uppercut from the same wing marked a sharp start to the third ball from Ball. Doheny reacted with a fine right to the middle part of his own and every man was successful with combinations of his contrasting attitude. A wing ball was disorganized for the first time.

After a few early thundering pressure from the ball in the fourth round, the couple acted in the middle ring and a cute doheny that brought the body to the attention. The challenger then hit the ropes well under fire, while clever work on the back foot in the fifth was dictated the impression ball from his opponent in terms of style and pace. It was no impression that was built for the duration.

More of the head shots of the champion started in the sixth and ball flew -up the Wish mode, although he received a warning of the referee because he had thrown his enemy on the screen.

The left to the body stayed in the game for Doheny, but he felt the pace. His legs struggled from a short two-two and the last 20 seconds of the session were difficult for the Irish, who tired to his corner.

Ball continued to pop on the front foot. Doheny's striking meters became less and less common and the brand's volume of the home favorite did not fall back.

Ball boomed his swarming left and right home, their effects in Doheny's swollen characteristics. The champion had taken a point because he also had an effect in round nine on the body shots and Doheny's mouth was at the end of the Agape session, which pointed out potential jaw damage to correspond to the exhaustion.

Doheny was caught in his own corner at the beginning of the 10th round and ball felt the end. The veteran was in survival mode when it roamed from shots to the top of the head. A Doheny deep blow took off the referee and an urgently needed ventilation. He still had options to legally score below – a remarkable and persistent weakness that could disturb the ball against someone of Inoues caliber – but the champion would neither be rejected nor denied, and the corner page was good.
