Nintendo sets a worrying trend before Switch 2 publication date | Games | Entertainment

Nintendo has just set a worrying trend before starting the Switch 2.

The Nintendo equivalent to the core of PS Plus and Xbox Game Pass, Nintendo Switch Online offers subscribers access to the online multiplayer and a selection of bonus games that can play as part of the membership package.

This includes classic NES, SNES and Game Boy titles as well as Sega Mega Drive, N64 and Game Boy Advance publications for subscribers on the higher level.

For the first time since the start of the service in 2018, Nintendo removed a game from the service.

According to a post on the eShop, the classic football game Super Soccer will be removed from Nintendo Switch online at the end of March.

“From 28.03.20 p.m. at 1 a.m. (UTC), the great soccer game, which can currently be played as part of the Super Nintendo Entertainment Systems -is no longer available -Nintendo Switch Online Library is no longer available,” says an ESHOP post.

It's a shame because I didn't have the best football game from this time, but I always had a weakness for great soccer.

With the Switch 2 on the Horizon and Nintendo, the Switch Online Service should change, removing a classic SNE game also sets a worrying precedent.

Hopefully Nintendo can complete a deal in order to change super soccer again in the future, and the thumb will no longer get their thumb in the weeks and months that lead to the start of Switch 2.

After a short teaser trailer at the beginning of this year, the Switch 2 will be fully presented during a Nintendo Direct event in April.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, which takes place on April 2, will illuminate the price and publication date and at the same time present some of the upcoming games.

Nintendo can spend time to detail its plans for Switch online during the event, even though this seems unlikely.

The fans hope that Nintendo GameCube games add to online changes, which would massively stimulate the subscriptions.

Speaking of Nintendo Switch 2 games, the announcement trailer (above) suggests developing Mario Kart 9 to get the console for the start.

Better, it looks like Mario Kart 9 could support a multiplayer of 24 people, which should lead to chaotic races.

Of course you have to subscribe to Nintendo Switch online to play against friends over the Internet. Perhaps Nintendo will discuss the service during the event.
