No. 4 Florida men's basketball ahead to the second second championship as a result

The recent history of Florida and Alabama Basketball has presented all types of top-class back and forth. On Saturday, the same high-flying offensive action was issued, to a somewhat more one-sided affair.

Similar to last season, the two sides met for the opportunity to take the SEC championship game. Last year's competition went back to the cable and Florida achieved a surprising 104-82 victory. This time a massive increase in the second half separated from a productive Alabama team No. 5, which has the last four efforts in a similar way.

Florida (29-4, 15-4 seconds) used his efficient crime to reduce Alabama (25-8, 13-5) 104-82 in the Sec-Tournament semi-final in Nashville.

Florida stood in less than three minutes after the game of an early 12-6 deficit with consecutive buckets by Mark Sears and graduate striker Grant Nelson from Alabama. From there it was a small look at the offensive rush in Florida, the expected.

UF Senior Guard Clayton Jr. was the blueprint for what head coach Todd Golden wanted to build in Gainesville in 2022 since arriving.

After four fast lead changes, Aden replied Holloway, Alabama's security guard, with a deep ball to give the flood an advantage of 25–22 near the middle of the first half. A trio of Bama 'baskets in a row stopped the flood in the middle of the first period.

The Gators then had to make the decision: Let Alabama go to a SEC championship game and hope that a seed No. 1 will be hit on Sunday, or fight back and take the flood. Florida went with the latter.

A 10: 2 increase that was launched from a tip-in layup by Rueben Chineylu from the second center to a tip-in layup scratched UF for a two-point deficit. Clayton Jr. bury a prompt ball that gave the Gators 38: 35 with less than seven minutes before the break.

Bama replied with a fast 7: 1 sprint to take a three-point advantage. But it was the gators who had a narrow 2-point advantage in halftime 47-45.

An 11: 3 run from Florida in less than three minutes (with the Senior Guard Alijah Martin) and five of these points enabled UF to win the amount of breathing space that it needed from halfway and had a double-digit advantage.

Martin struck two free throws to reach Florida's lead to 14 points in the second half. The Crimson Tide was notorious this season that they quickly scored a goal, although they were anything but did in the last minutes of regulation.

It was all gators from there. A manufactured 3 pointer and a silky climbed 2-point jumper from Senior Guard, Richard will climbed 84: 61 Florida in front of the Florida before the Gators earned their greatest leadership of the game (24) with less than one minute before the regulation.

Florida has done a phenomenal job in Alabama's All-Sec-Wachmann Sears in Alabama. Uf kept him out of the ground at only nine points at 3 out of 10 shots, with an immense pressure on his ball handling being exerted during the entire competition. The flood entered the semi -final game, which was an average of over 90 points per game, but was only turned from the field and 11 of 25 (31%) behind the bow to only 42%.

The gators offensive held the sheet on the heels, who should decorate herself defensively. Clayton Jr. scored 22 points at team height, but he was far from the only gators that played a role in hanging over 100 points on Alabama. Richard and Martin added 16 points each and both shot over 50% of the field. Hagh, Junior Guard Denzel Aberdeen and the second Rueben Chinyelu in the second year achieved two -digit numbers with 11, 11 and 10 points.

In view of Bamas No. 1 in the SEC, Florida had less than six points per game. A massive part of the offensive excursion of UF was driven from a distance with 37 out of 72 clips (51%) from the floor and a fatal 12 out of 27 editions (44%).

Next, Florida will play his third game against Tennessee this season. However, this will be in a neutral area and for a SEC tournament championship. Tipoff between the Gator and volunteers will take place on Sunday at 1 p.m.
