Nova continues the hot start, progress for the BCAA tournament final

2017. This was the last year in which the famous Nova Titans program was achieved as a regional championship in the state final Four. The titans have won two districts since then, but did not threaten to be state candidates.

This story can change this season. Nova jumped to an unbeaten record in the first two weeks of the season. On Wednesday afternoon they won their greatest victory of the year, a 4-2 victory against Chaminade-Madonna in the BCAA Tier 2 tournament semi-final.

The titans did it on Wednesday with a strong pitching performance by Cody Boisvert, who threw a complete game and only allowed two runs while he was three.

In the meantime, the offensive did just enough, led by a two-RBI single from the bat of the left field player Cody Kunca.

“Cody (Boisvert) did a great job to contact today and not to run anyone,” said Nova manager Brian Luebkert. “And Cody (Kunca came through with a big two-RBI hit for us. We have a team of senior team who learns how to win. They believe in themselves, which allows them to have fun and win.”

This has not always been the case with the titans since Luebkert took over the program. For a trainer who has been with the titans for over two decades, it took a few years for a standard to be restored after it was taken over for the long -term legendary trainer Pat McQuaid.

In recent years, Luebkert has fought the course about what he knows with a young squad through a few rough years through a few rough years. In 2025, the team is now an experienced bunch that has been together for several years, a key factor for success in the early season, according to Luebkert.

“We have been struggling with a lack of faith in the past few years,” said the Titans Manager. “But this group has been together for four years and they start to believe in each other, and the hard work pays off.”

Nova is in the process of restoring yourself as one of the top programs in Broward, and it is expected that you will be classified to the first upcoming HSBN Broward Power ranking of the season on Monday.

Before you reach this point, you will have another game at the BCAA tournament, which shows whether this current version of the Titans -Stammbaue has a championship trunk tree. You will be against Pembroke Pines Charter against Pembroke Pines, another team that has played well recently and won her first two games in the tournament this week with a total value of 16: 1 this week.

Despite the result in this game on Friday, Luebkert is looking forward to the possibilities that are in front of them with the 2025 titans.

“I preached to these children for four years that it is not what we do with our success, but how we deal with our failures. I am proud of the start that these boys have put together this season, and hopefully we can continue to build on the strong start. “

Nova and Pines Charter will play 2 titles on Friday at Nova.
