Officer involved death investigations in the city of Blue Mounds

The Department of Criminal Police (DCI) in Wisconsin (DOJ) of the Ministry of Justice (DOJ) carries out an officer who concerns dying tests in the city of Blue Mounds on the last evening (Sunday, March 2).

Around 6:20 a.m., a soldier of Wisconsin State Patrol tried to initiate a traffic stop on the US Highway 18/151 near Mile Marker 52 in Iowa County. The subject did not stop and asked for a persecution. A member of the sheriff office of the sheriff in Iowa joined shortly after the persecution began. The persecution ended when the subject plunged near Mile Marker 65 in the city of Blue Mounds. Ems replied and the topic was declared dead at the crime scene.

DCI heads this investigation and is supported by a DCI specialist for crime reaction, the Dane County Sheriff's Office and the Mount Horeb police authority.

All law enforcement authorities involved cooperate with DCI during this investigation. DCI continues to check the evidence and determine the facts of this incident and will transfer the investigative reports to the District Prosecutor's Office of the DANE COUNTY when the examination concludes.
