Officer Shot remains in the state that has not released the motif of the suspect

The Baltimore County police were back in front of Maryland shock trauma on Friday afternoon.

The department confirmed one of its own remains in a “guarded” state after being shot in what the boss called a deliberate attack.

According to BCPD boss Robert McCullough, the shootout occurred on the Wilkens Precinct car park of the department in Catonsville on Thursday.

In a press release on Friday, the department also provided the officer, who was shot, also in the parking lot when the suspect approached another officer and opened the fire.

According to the department, both officials then returned the fire.

The suspect was shot at least once, and finally check remains in a critical condition.

“He has a limited criminal record. That's all I can say at this point, ”said McCullough in the hospital during a press conference.

The department has published additional details about the suspect, including its identity and the assumed motif.

According to the boss, the suspect entered the lobby of the district lobby and spoke to officers in the building, then stopped and conducted another conversation with an officer in the parking lot before taking out a gun and shot at the officer.

Fox45 News asked the department what was said during this conversations.

The department has not yet answered this question.

The injured officer has not yet identified the seven -year -old veteran of the department.
