The same video was uploaded in November 2022 on various YouTube channels of other messages, with descriptions confirmed that the incident took place in MySuru. The report also found that the Leopard was later captured by officials from the Ministry of Forestry.

Using relevant keywords, Vishvas News found a news report by the Times of India, which was published on November 5, 2022. According to the report, the incident was recorded on November 4, 2022 by a driver in Kr Nagar, Mysuru. The Leopard was later tranquilated and saved.
