On today's date: 2024 'Pi-Day' Tornado outbreak

At the beginning of spring, Schwerwonzer and Tornado outbreaks are not just a Mediterranean thing, as we only saw last year.

On March 14, 2024, today a year ago, 34 tornados were produced in the “Pi Day” shoutbreak, mainly in the valleys of Ohio and Mississippi.

This included a fatal EF3 tornado by Augaize and Logan Counties, Ohio, who lives three and another EF3 twister in Randolph County, Indiana, who killed one and injured 37.

Nine tornados in Ohio were produced on the outbreak of the PI day (March 14). In 2024, the state of Buckey would be a record of 74 tornados, the majority of a year and 15 more than the average annual record in Oklahoma.

This outbreak occurred only two weeks after another strange outbreak in the early season from February 27th to 28th 23 tornados from North Illinois in Lower Michigan, Ohio, Ohio and New York from the state of Lower Michigan, Ohio and New York.

One thing that I will not forget from this day was the view of an EF2 tornado from the Pi Day Outbreak, which crossed the Ohio River near Madison, Indiana, from near the banks of the river and also from a hill with a view of the city.
