From Ball State University Communications –

Muncie, Indiana – A Ball State Day (OBSD), the annual day of giving and celebrating the cardinal spirit of the university, returns to her seventh year on Tuesday, April 2. This day of charity brings alumni, students, faculties, employees and friends together to present the power of the collective effects on the further development of Ball State University and to support the success of the students.

Since its foundation in 2019, a ball state has demonstrated what can be achieved when the cardinals combine. Last year, more than 6,300 people contributed more than 8,400 gifts, with almost 1.2 million US dollars collecting and deep connections and generosity within the ball state were emphasized. This year's OBSD continues this dynamic and strengthens the common commitment to changing life and strengthening the future of the university.

“A ball state day is proof of the loyalty of our community and the permanent spirit of charity that defines our university,” said Geoffrey S. Mearns, president of the ball state ball. “Every year our students, faculties, employees, alumni and friends come to demonstrate their generosity and commitment.

During the day, the campus will be filled with activities that bring students and faculties together to celebrate.

Ball State University was founded in 1918 and located in Muncie and is one of the leading universities in Indiana and an economic driver for the state. The 20,000 students of the ball state come from all over Indiana, the nation and the world. The 790 hectare campus is large enough to accommodate first -class facilities and 19 NCAA Division I Sport, but our inviting and integrative campus is small enough to ensure the friendliness, personal attention and access that are the characteristics of the university. Goal 2040: Our flight path determines the ambitious gates of Ball State for our second century.
