One injured, one after shooting in the Scottsdale Hospital in custody

Scottsdale, Az – one person is injured and one is custody after a shootout on Sunday afternoon in a hospital in Scottsdale.

Officials say the incident occurred at the Health Shea location near Loop 101 and Shea Boulevard.

According to reports, a person who was identified as a security guard in the hospital at that time does not have life -threatening injuries and is expected to survive.

Officials say that the alleged shooter was introduced by a family member has a potential patient in the hospital.

There was a fight with the patient in the emergency room and then the shootout passed. The security and staff of the hospital helped to subdue and disarm the man.
