Onondaga County Da appointed special prosecutor in investigations into death in the middle state

The district attorney of Onondaga, Bill Fitzpatrick, was appointed special prosecutor in one case with the death of an inmate in the correctional facility in the middle state.

Fitzpatrick will examine the death of the 22 -year -old Messiah Nantwi, who was declared dead in the Wynn Hospital in Utica. The New York state police announced that on March 3, two days after his death, an examination of his death was underway.

He was locked up in the middle of the state of the state of the state due to weapon accusation. It served five years for the crime.

This is the second death in the occupants in less than five months, which Fitzpatrick was appointed to investigate special prosecutors. The Attorney General of New York, Letitia James, asked Fitzapatrick to examine Robert Brooks' death, the inmate in the Marcy Correctional Facility. In this study, six prison officers were charged with murder.

After Nantwi's death, governor Kathy Hochul put 15 employees on vacation in the middle of the state.

Fitzpatrick said that he would not comment on the matter until the Grand jury was taken in this case.
