Onondaga there appointed special prosecutor in the death examination of the occupant in the occupants

The General Prosecutor's office in New York is stirring back on a further investigation of an inmate. The District Prosecutor of Onondaga, William Fitzpatrick, has been appointed special prosecutor.

The Messiah Nantwi died on March 1st in the mid -state correctional facility in Marcy. Anonymous testify to more than 40 inmates that saw and heard what happened, CBS6 Nantwi told.

Attorney General Letitia James asked a legally appointed special prosecutor to research, since four prison officers who are involved in the events before the death of Nantwi are accused in other cases and are represented by the AG's office.

The district onondaga, because Fitzpatrick, was previously appointed special prosecutor to examine the death of inmates Robert Brooks Sr. in the Marcy Correctional Facility. The prison is less than a mile from the middle state. Ten correction officers were charged with Brooks' death last month: six because of murder and four with homicide.

The General Prosecutor's office says that it will be handed over to Fitzpatrick's office from his preliminary evaluation. In this case, judicial officers are not represented by the department for prosecutors.
