Openaai Rival Anthropic is free to create his most intelligent AI model

Anthropic, one of the greatest rivals of artificial intelligence (AI), has published Claude 3.7 Sonnet or – like the company it – his “most intelligent model”.

The Claude 3 logo from Anthropic can be seen.

“It is a hybrid argumentation model that creates almost instant answers or an extended, gradual thinking about thinking,” said the company based in San Francisco on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in a contribution to X at 12:00 p.m.

Anthropic, which is supported by both Amazon and Google, says that the extended mode of thought of the model gives an additional boost in mathematics, physics, instructions, coding and many other tasks.

Anthropic, however, has a little less optimized for problems with mathematics and computer science competitions and instead focuses on real tasks, which the company says “better reflect our users' needs”.

API users can now also control how long the model can think.

Anthropic also claims that it has reduced unnecessary rejections by 45% compared to its predecessor.

In both standard and the extended modes of thinking, Claude 3.7 Sonett has the same price as its predecessors, which is $ 3 per million in place and $ 15 per million output tokens, which also includes thinking, according to an anthropic blog post .

Apart from that, the company also announced the publication of the agent coding tool Claude Code, but in a limited research preview.

Users can now delegate essential tasks to Claude directly from their terminal.

“In early tests, Claude performed tasks in a single pass that would normally take more than 45 minutes of manual work,” wrote the company.

All of this comes at a time when AI companies are a race worldwide when it comes to triggering new innovations and making the same innovations cheaper.

Anthropic, which was founded in 2021 by former Openai employees, is also in the middle of a financing round of 3.5 billion US dollars, which, according to several reports, would rate a value of $ 61.5 billion.

His original Claude model was published in response to Openai's version of Chatgpt, which shared his “thinking” process.
