Openai starts GPT-4.5, its largest model so far

Welcome back to the week in review. This week we dive into Opena's latest, largest model GPT-4.5, Microsoft, which pulls the connector on Skype, like anthropic Pokémon Red, to train its Claude 3.7 sun model, the unexpected return of Fyre Festival and more! Let us go into it.

Openai announced the start of GPT-4.5Present The highly expected AI model can be named Orion with the code. GPT-4.5 is the largest model from Openai to date, which is trained with more computing power and data than all the company's earlier publications. CEO Sam Altman even said that Openai was forced to stumble the rollout of the model because the company is “from GPUS”. Subscribers to the Chatgpt Pro plan worth $ 200 per month have a research preview of GPT-4.5, while Chatgpt Plus and Chatgpt team customers should receive the model next week.

A demo from Y combinator cohort Member opifye.ai triggered an intensive counter reaction that led to YC completely deleted it from his social media. According to his YC profile, Optifyee says that it creates software to help factory owners know who works in real time in real time thanks to AI-driven surveillance cameras, which they work on assembly lines. The clip was strongly criticized on X, with the user @vcbrags called him as a “sweatshops-as-a-service” and one other was seen as a “computer vision sweatshop software”.

Amazon presented a new and improved Alexa Experience called Alexa+. The new Alexa begins at $ 19.99 per month, which is competitive with other generative AI chatbots on the market, but it is free for Amazon Prime subscribers. Alexa+ will be carried out in the United States in early access next month. Amazon also starts Alexa.com, a new web experience that was developed for “long-shaped work”, as well as an updated Alexa Mobile app with a new interface and functionality.
