Openai's video explanator Sora to get Chatgpt integration

Openai finally plans to integrate its AI video manufacturer Sora directly into Chatgpt, and is also interested in building a dedicated mobile app. Techcrunch Reports. Sora is currently only available via an independent web portal.

Sora debuted in December 2024 and allowed potential filmmakers to generate videos of up to 20 seconds, based on text demands for a subscription fee of $ 20 per month and at the same time numerous controversy within the creative industry in relation to fair use and copyrights.

Rohan Saai, Openais product manager for Sora, discussed the plans and the future of the tool in an “office time” session that is hosted on the social network discord. However, the Openai -Xec did not deliver precise timeline if the integration took place.

According to Saai, the chatt integration may not deliver the same functionality as the independent version of Sora. In the full version, users can split and edit the film material that they generate with the tool. These functions can be limited or simplified in the version packed with Chatgpt.

Sai also said that his team “would be happy to build” an independent mobile app, but again offered a timeline, even though he said that Openaai hired additional mobile engineers before the app was started.

Openai also plans several upgrades under the house to Sora. Sai said his team was working on a new version of Sora Turbo, the underlying model that the Sora -Web -app is involved.

The text-to-video tool is already available to a much wider international audience. It debut for the first time in the United Kingdom and the European Union at the beginning of this week.

But if you can hardly wait for Sora to come to chat, you still have many new functions to play. Openai unveiled GPT-4.5, the latest iteration of his AI model, earlier this week. GPT-4.5 is currently available as a research preview for chatt-pro-users and users. It is expected to be introduced to plus and team users next week.

In the latest version of Chatgpt, Openaai promised a variety of new functions, including fewer AI hallucinations and “higher emotional intelligence and creativity” when it comes to tasks like writing.

With chatt, users can also use the text-to-image tool Dalle-E directly without leaving the app.
