Oscars 2025: Live updates from this evening 97th Academy Awards and Red Carpet

Los Angeles – The 2025 Oscars are officially here.

Conan O'Brien organizes the 97th Academy Awards, who honor the best in the cinema from last year.

“Emilia Pérez” led 13 Oscar nominations this year, just a shy, the record for most nominations of a single film by “All About Eve”, “Titanic” and “La La Land”, only one candidate.

“The Brutalist” and “Wicked” follow closely with 10 nominations, while “a complete unknown” and “Conclave” round the top nominated films with eight nods per piece.

This year's show will honor the city of Los Angeles and show its resilience according to the forest fires that destroyed at least 29 dead and thousands of houses.

The Oscars ceremony will be broadcast on ABC from 7 p.m. et Live and streamed live on Hulu for the first time.
