Oscars 2025: moderators, timings and how to watch the ceremony | News

The 97th Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, March 2 in the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.

The ceremony begins at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET (Midnight UK Time) and is to be carried out for about three hours (although they normally exceeded).

It is transferred live to ABC in the USA and streamed on Hulu. In the UK, it is broadcast on ITV1 again, with Jonathan Ross's reporting.

Conan O'Brien is organizing the ceremony for the first time, with Raj Kapoor acting as a producer and showrunner and Katy Mullan as executive producer.

Currently Confirmed Presenters for the Night Include Dave Bautista, Harrison Ford, Gal Gadot, Andrew Garfield, Samuel L. Jackson, Margaret Qualley, Alba Rohrwacher, Zoe Saldaña, Rachel Zegler, Joe Alwyn, Halle Berry, Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Ana de Armas, Lily-Rose Depp, Robert Downey Jr., Elle Fanning, Whoopi Goldberg, Selena Gomez, Goldie Hawn, Scarlett Johansson, John Lithgow, Cillian Murphy, Connie Nielsen, Amy Poehler, Da'vine Joy Randolph, June Squibb, Ben Stern, Emma Stone, Oprah Winfrey and Bowen Yang.

There will be musical appearances by Doja Cat, Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Lisa von Blackpink, Queen Latifah and Raye.

Jacques Audiard's Emilia Perez leads the nominations at 13, followed by Brady Corbet's The brutalist And Jon M Chu's Evil With 10 per piece. James Mangold's A complete unknown and Edward Bergers conclave are next with eight nominations.
