Overnight shots in Glendale quarters leaves 1 dead

Glendale, AZ (Azfamily) – A shootout put a person dead in a quarter of Glendale on Friday evening.

Shortly after 10 p.m., the officers were appointed to a neighborhood near the 63rd Avenue and the Keim Drive north of the Bethany Home Road to report reports on a man who had been shot. The authorities arrive at the scene and began life -saving measures for the man.

He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

The investigators say that the victim and another man have started to argue, which escalated into a fight. The victim was initially able to free himself and run away, but he then turned to the shooter and “made a movement as if he were armed,” said the police.

The alleged shooter then fired several times and hit the victim once.

The investigators worked through the night to collect evidence from the crime scene. The investigator did not say whether the reported shooter would file charges or whether he would be custody.
