Pa. State police examined fatal crash in Georges Township, Fayette County

One person was killed and some others were injured in an accident in Fayette County on Monday evening.

Fayette County's forensic doctor, Dr. Bob Baker, said that the forensic doctor's office was called shortly after 9 p.m. on Monday shortly after 9 p.m. near the intersection of the Morgantown Road and Tent Church Road.

The 24-year-old Tyler Shaffer was declared dead according to the forensic doctor's office at the crime scene.

Disponents say KDKA that several other people have been taken to the hospital. The severity of her injuries is unclear at this time.

The Pennsylvania State Police from the Uniontown barracks lead the investigation into a fatal crash.
