A panora man was recently arrested for alleged sex abuse.

According to the Guthrie County's office, an investigation began on February 11, when the office of the Sheriff of the Polk County informed her about the alleged incident. The Sheriff's office of Guthrie County says that a woman who was less than 16 years old had run away from her house in the Moines on February 3 and had met a man in a petrol station who offered to buy her alcohol and drive around. After he had rushed up, the female lost consciousness and later appeared in the residence of the man, in sexual intercourse.

The next morning, the investigators say that the woman had reported the alleged incident of the local law enforcement authorities after the man brought her to school. During the examination, the Sheriff's office identified the suspect as 39-year-old Max Pierce from Panora, and on February 12, a search command was executed in his house, and he admitted to sex act and brought her to school the next day. Pierce was arrested and the third degree was instructed in the prison of Guthrie County in class C for sex abuse, and the office of the sheriff states that additional fees are completed until the examination is completed.
