Patrick Mahomes surprises Texas Tech Student from the Viral Putt video with free tuition fees

The quarterback from Kansas City Chiefs and Texas Tech Alaun Patrick Mahomes surprised a TTU student on Thursday with the news that his tuition fees will be dealt with next autumn.

The Texas Tech student Blake Porter subsequently appeared on Thursday by The Today Show after making a 94-foot putt between Texas Tech and Houston during the men's college basketball game on Monday.

The two-time NFL MVP was present for the Texas Tech basketball game on Monday and added the excitement of Porters moment by celebrating with him after making the putt.

In his video message at Porter, Mahomes called it a “fantastic moment” and added that he was “so excited to be a small part of it”.

Per Espn's Anthony Gharib, Porter Studies Finance at Texas Tech, and he plans to use the tuition fees through the graduate school.
