Patriot League tournament 2025: clip, schedule, scores, as the home court is determined

The Basketball tournament of the Patriot League 2025 taps on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. ET when Lafayette No. 7 No. 10 is Holy Cross. The lower four seeds will appear in the first round, with the winners in the quarter -finals connect to the remaining six teams.

The Bucknell bison will enter the tournament as seeds No. 1 after claiming the Tiebreaker conference title via the American University Eagles. The two teams were bound on the Patriot League with a 13: 5 conference record. They separated their season series, which moved the Tiebreaker to the record against the rest of the conference. The conference had a four-way difference between Army, Colgate, Boston University and Navy. Bucknell claimed the Tiebreaker by having the better overall record against these four teams.

This is all important because the Patriot League does not play its tournament in a neutral place. Instead, the higher seed organizes in every game. Bucknell will organize every game that it plays through the tournament championship game when you do it that far.

The defending champions are the Colgate Raiders, who have claimed the last four NCAA tournament lying and five of the last six. This year Colgate will enter the tournament as No. 3 seeds.
