Woburn, mass. (WHDH)-A person was taken to a three-story apartment building in Woburn on Sunday after the hospital had broken out in a three-story apartment building in Woburn.

The crews that reacted to a reported structural tax on Mount Pleasant Street around 4 p.m. found a strong smoke out of the building and fought against the flames with strong winds.

Woburn Fire Officers said that the crews took about 45 minutes to delete the fire with conductor trucks, and firefighters were still on site around 6 p.m.

A witness said that she was looking outside to see how flames used the back of the building and feared that the strong winds would lead to spreading to other nearby structures.

The extent of the injuries suffered from the person who was taken to the hospital was not immediately available.

The cause of the fire remains examined.
