Person who was killed after the crash in Monterey County-Kion546 at an officer

County of Monterey, California (Kion-TV) -The CHP said she examined a shootout with officer, in which a person remained dead on Saturday evening.

The agency said that the units were sent to Ralph Lane at around 6.55 p.m. on arrival at 6:55 p.m. on Highway 101. A CHP officer began to evaluate the scene when, according to the CHP, he encountered a person involved in the crash.

The CHP said for reasons that were still examined, a shootout occurred in an official and this person had been hit. According to CHP, life -saving measures were taken, but the person was declared dead at the scene. The CHP added that the CHP officer was not injured during the shootout.

The CHP said that the incident would continue to be investigated, which is now being headed by the Monderey district prosecutor in accordance with established protocols.

Kion turned to the CHP and the DA office to obtain further information, including the question of whether the person killed was armed and whether the official was in any danger of how many shots were fired and whether the official was transferred to administrative leave.
