Person who was taken to the hospital after shooting near the Kentucky Expo Center

Louisville, Ky. –

An investigation is underway after a person was shot near the Kentucky Expo Center on Tuesday afternoon.

The Louisville police authority reacted to the 3300 block of the Preston Highway and in Phillips Lanes via the shootout. This is directly down the street from the Kentucky Expo Center.

Wlky Newschopper flew over the scene where LMPD had recorded the McDonald's in this area.

Officials said a person was taken to the hospital. Your condition is unknown.

The police have not published any further details.
