Personal best times, top ten DMR Finish Highlight Day 1 at Nediii Indoor Championships

Boston, MA-DAS WPI Athletics team had a solid opening day at the New England Division III Indoor Championships on the route at New Balance in Boston.

The men's medley relay distance saw the four-person of the graduate student Jarrett guilders (Walpole, me), newcomer Will Larsen (Chelmsford, Ma), newcomer Daniel Narvaez (Wayland, MA) and graduate student Ben trantanella (Westford, MA) Team for a 10th place in 10: 38.68.

In the 1000 m, all three WPI runners ended in personal top marks. On the women's newcomer Catherine Daly (Groton, Ma) was the 14th overall in 3: 09.54. On the men's side, senior Brendan May (Rutland, Ma) campaigned for 2: 33.35 and newcomer Alden Betterley (Bow, NH) followed 2: 34.11.

Narvaez also drew a personal best of the meeting. He ran in 600 m and ended in a time of 1: 24.52.

WPI had three entries at the start as in the second year Ethan Anderson ((North Haven, CT) won the 11th (14.30 m), second year Michael zuo (Worcester, Ma) won the 12th (14.09 m) and the newcomer John Cummings (Dallas, Pa) was 27. (13.19 m).

Sophomores Sam Manteria (Wilbraham, Ma) and Ajay Bellamy (Stratford, CT) in the 60 -m -Dash -Prelims with Manteria in 7.06 seconds and Bellamy with 7.13 seconds. Newcomer Rayna Thompson (Brentwood, NH) also ran in the 60 -M -Dash drives and ends in 8.00.

In the 60m hurdles in the second year in the second year Daniel Kim (Orange, CT), ended with a time of 8.79 seconds, during junior Carryn Fisher (Swansea, MA) clocked at the women's event at 9.60 a.m.

In the 4x200m relay of women, Fisher, Junior Lydia beers (Norfolk, CT), newcomer Julia Fronc (Plaistow, NH) and senior Lauren Mitcheson (West Bridgewater, Ma) The day on which the first highlights are 1: 51.43.

The campaign continues tomorrow for the engineers, starting with the triple diving at 11 a.m.
