Phillips chips with 4 RBIs in UT Arlington Loss against Oklahoma State

Stillwater, Okla. –Newcomer Austin Phillips Collected four RBIs, but the UT Arlington outsiders fell into the cowboys of the state of Oklahoma 19: 4 on Sunday.

Sophomore Caylon dygert (1-1) started and took the loss on the hill for UT Arlington (2-2). senior Cade McGlade Was a ray of hope out of the bullpen that went a shutout inning without a hit, none to go and beat you. Newcomer Hayes Melville also took up his first career strike.

Phillips went with a double in addition to his four RBIs for the Mavericks 2-towards 4.

How it happened

The Mavericks 4-0 runs on the board for the first time in the second inning. Phillips' Base Clearing double doubles put all three runs in the inning for UT Arlington on the board.

The cowboys expanded their lead to 13: 3 before the Mavericks offensive came back to work and went into this lead in the fourth tour. Ut Arlington once scored on an RBI single from the bat of Phillips, which brought the score in favor of the cowboys to 13: 4. The Mavericks could not get closer when Oklahoma State added six runs to their balance sheet on the way to a 19: 4 final.
