Phoenix weekend plan, TV info for Nascar Cup and Xfinity Series

In a race that becomes known as a championship barometer, the Nascar Cup series will tackle a new twist this weekend at the Phoenix Raceway.

The 312-round race on Sunday will contain the debut of option tires on the 1-mile oval. The tire was used in the All-Star race of the last year at the North Wilkesboro Speedway and in the race on August 11 on the Richmond Raceway, where he pulled some enthusiastic reviews from drivers.

Several lobbs to use the option tires last year in Phoenix, but Goodyear and Nascar have chosen the waiting time until this season – with a view to use the option tires in the 2025 season finale when they are classified as successful.
