Groton, CT – The police are looking for a powerful of the armed bankraub.

On Wednesday at 3:11 p.m., a white man who entered a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, a dark trousers and brown colored boots (assumed as Herman Survivor Brand) entered M&T Bank, 654 Long Hill Road, Groton, the police said.

He wore a dark mask that covered his face and used a dark fabric material to cover his right hand. A bandstil band was seen on the suspect's left ring finger, the police said.

The suspect gave a bank employee a note that was written on an envelope. The note asked the note and informed the cashier that the suspect had a gun, the police said.

The man showed a dark colored, semi -automatic gun in style. The police said the weapon was not recovered.

The man received cash from two separate cashiers before leaving the bank. The suspect was recently fleeing on foot, the police said.

At this point, no vehicles were associated with the suspect. A K9 route led to the back of Planet Fitness, where it ended.
