Physics paper is leaked on social media before HSSLCE 2025

Imphal: The physics question paper for the current higher secondary school Leaving Certificate Examination (HSSLCE) 2025, carried out by the Council of Secondary Education Manipur (Cohsem), was leaked through on Monday.

The general secretary of the influential student association of Kangleikak, Manipur (SUK), confirmed with reporters in Imphal that the leaked question paper on various social media platforms had appeared in the entire Manipur Valley before the exam.

The SUK leader asked the authorities to thoroughly examine the matter and ensure that strict measures are taken against the measures responsible for the leak. He emphasized the need for serious punishment to prevent such activities in the future.

This incident follows the beginning of class XII exams to Cohsem, which began on February 17, with a total of 29,065 students who took part in 112 examination centers in the state.

In response to the leak, official sources showed that a complaint had been submitted to the state station of state cybercrime and an investigation was initiated. The authorities assume that those who are responsible for the leak would be arrested shortly.

In addition, the unity of Manipur Cyber ​​Crime had previously arrested in connection with the social science questionnaire of the High School Leading Certificate Examination (HSLCE) 2025. Two people were arrested and accused of misconduct in the High School Leaving Certificate and a higher secondary examination law 2024, the IPC and the Cyber ​​Crimes Act.

The law stipulates that people who are involved in and negligent questionnaires-during their possession, during transport, printing or evaluation, are exposed to a prison sentence of five to ten years as well as considerable fines between 10 LAKH to 10 billion rupees.
